Nike: Juve's New Partner

TURIN, November 29 (DS) - American sports accessory producer Nike will equip Turin Juventus FC over a 12 year period. According to the Italian daily La Gazzetta dello Sport, the players of the most titled club of Italy will, from 2003 to 2015, play wearing the jerseys of their sponsor, thanks to whom the treasury of Juventus will be increased by 135 million dollars. Until 2003 Juve have a contract with the company Lotto. The Italian press also notes that Nike has signed a similar contract with Manchester United with a similar 13-year term. The deal between the American producer and the Italian club was signed at the threshold of Juve's stocks' appearance in the stock market, which is scheduled to take place on December 20.
