Lippi And Zaccheroni Share Opinions About Lazio vs. Juventus Match
ROME, November 24 (DS) - On the eve of the Italian championship match between S.S. Lazio and Juventus FC the head coaches of both clubs shared their opinions with journalists.
Juventus head coach Marcello Lippi stated: " I hope to see in Rome that the Juventus are improving day after day and are doubling their achievements. I expect that my players will prove that they are strong and can play as a team. In general, I hope that this game will be beautiful and stubborn because we as well as Lazio want to win. Each meeting of our sides gives the championship a sort of particularity. Lazio were impressive in the last two matches. Rome side have scored 9 goals in two last championship matches.
In particular, I like the performance of Hernan Crespo. Every team would dream of having such a forward."
Lazio head coach Alberto Zaccheroni declared: "The moral spirit of the team is high. We always progressing and must prove it to everybody. We suffered defeat by Milan and Roma and ended in a draw with Parma. We have to win this match because first we need points. And if we win then Juventus will lose points. I want to prove that we still are able to win the championship."
Lazio chairman Sergio Cragnotti also opined about the forthcoming match.
"We will win," he expressed his opinion in one sentence.
Zaccheroni added: "Juventus often changed their tactic in recent matches. I hope that we will overcome all obstacles. Of course, our rivals are strong due to Alessandro Del Piero, Pavel Nedved and David Trezeguet, but we have Hernan Crespo. Consequently, one can say, we are equal."
