Juventus Raising Money For Scottish Kids

ROME, October 30 (DS) - Juventus FC stars plan to donate their shirts to Glasgow's Sick Children's Hospital at Yorkhill. The players will donate the kit they'll wear in the Champions League clash against Celtic FC to be played tomorrow night. Italian giants having already qualified for the second stage of the competition provoke the outrage of Celtic fans when Nicola Amoruso dived to win a last-gasp penalty in the first game in Turin.

"Juventus do a lot of this kind of thing and when they heard Celtic were also involved in charity work they came up with this initiative.

"They weren't asked to do this, they came up with this idea themselves and it's highly commendable because they are not doing it for publicity - they hardly need it," said Radio expert Gordon Smith.

The hospital will receive aftermath the kits of such stars as Allessandro del Piero, French World Cup winner Lilian Thuram and Dutchman Edgar Davids.
