Giampiero Boniperti: The Sale Of Zidane Was A Serious Mistake
TURIN, October 29 (DS) - Juventus FC honorary president Giampiero Boniperti announced that the sale of French star Zinedine Zidane was a mistake, El Mundo reports. Boniperti who was the director of Juventus in 1970s-80s analyzed the situation created in the club and, in particular, announced that the club aren't living the best times at present.
"The sale of Zidane was a serious mistake by the Juventus board. He is a great player and is on the peak of his physical fitness. If he was in our team then we would not have equal in the Italian championship."
