Lippi Had A Meeting With Supporters
TURIN July 27 (DS) - Juventus coach Marcello Lippi has answered some
questions of supporters during his visit to Summer Village, club's official
website reported. The supporters were many in number, and they were so loud
that Lippi could hardly start speaking.
"I'm overwhelmingly glad to see this. I honestly could imagine what the
atmosphere around me was going to be, but I see happy faces, smiling, and
I'm delighted, because I'm back to win and the fans' enthusiasm is ver
important," he said.
Lippi also answered questions concerning his private life. "The song which
means the most to me? A song by Fred Bongusto. I used to listen to it when I
was a young boy, it reminds me of the time when I met my wife. "Sometime I
deal with the players like I do with my own children, that is to say, with
the appropriate strictness, when necessary."
Lippi answered a question about his relations with Antonio Conte: "I heard
from him over the phone, he's in Lecce at the moment, undergoing knee
rehabilitation. I repeated to him what I told everybody the day of my
arrival: in order to start again properly, we always need to forget all
about the past, both good and bad things, this in order to stick together
when aiming at a common target, which is victory. I'll be waiting for him in
Turin the sixth of August."
