Del Piero Fit and Raring to Go

Juventus forward Alessandro Del Piero has insisted he is fit and available
for selection for the league game this weekend. "I could be in the line-up
on Sunday against Perugia," he said.
The Italy forward added: "I have done some training with the team and I will
train all week with my team-mates."
The game between the clubs is memorable since Juventus lost the Scudetto in
dramatic circumstances after losing 1-0 to Perugia on the final day of last
season.
"It's normal that speaking about Perugia we speak also about the past. But,
now, our target is Roma and again Scudetto. After Roma drew with Bari, all
we now think that it's possible.
"This year more than in the last championships there is not an unbeatable
team. The winners will be the most consistent team. But, beware: the race
for the Scudetto will not be between just Roma and Juventus, but also Lazio
and Fiorentina."
