Ancelotti Welcomes Break
Wednesday 4th October 2000
Juventus coach Carlo Ancelotti has welcomed the enforced break in the Serie
A season for World Cup qualifying matches, and will use it to get his squad
up to full fitness.
"We need to work on the physical side of things," he said. "These days that
is very important. When we are up to full fitness, you will see another
Juventus - everything will be better.
"And the break in the championship will help us to get Pablo Montero, Juan
Esnaider and Fabian O'Neill back in the starting line-up."
O'Neill is expected to be fit for the home game against Bari on October 15,
and the other two for the clash with AC Milan at the san Siro a week later.
