Juve Hold No Fear for Brescia
Thursday 21st September 2000
After Brescia's surprising scoreless draw against Juventus in the Copa
Italia, the Serie A minnows head to the Stadio Delle Alpi in confident mood.
The first leg, delayed by a thunderstorm, had more than its fair share of
fireworks with four red cards and a serious injury to defender Pierpaolo
Bisoli overshadowing Roberto Baggio's debut for Brescia.
Brescia striker Dario Hubner summed up the mood of his team-mates when he
said: "The 0-0 draw in the first match gave us confidence. For me, Brescia
and Juventus are now on the same level.
"Yes, we play away on Saturday and this will not help us. But we have
Roberto Baggio and, with him, we can do anything."
