has joined Italian Serie A side Juventus, the French club said
in a statement on Tuesday.
The French champions have signed Burundian striker Shabani
Nonda from Stade Rennes to replace the 22-year-old, who is
currently with the France squad at Euro 2000 in Belgium and the
Netherlands.
Monaco did not reveal the fee paid for either player but
reports say Juventus have paid 160 million francs ($26.5
million) for Trezeguet.
The fee for Nonda, whose transfer depended on Monaco selling
Trezeguet, has been estimated at 130 million francs ($21.5
million).
