Middlesbrough Bows Out of Match With Juventus

LONDON (June 21, 2000 1:32 p.m. EDT http://www.sportserver.com) -Middlesbrough has revealed Wednesday that a planned friendly in Italy against Juventus will not now go ahead.
The Teessiders were hoping to travel to Cesena to take on the Serie A side on August 12, a week before the start of the new Premiership season, but that has now been dropped for undisclosed reasons.
A club spokesman said: "We will not be playing Juventus, but we're planning to perhaps set up another friendly around that time."
