Ancelotti is a Happy Man

04/10/2000. Juventus coach Carlo Ancelotti appeared the happiest man present in the press room of the Dall'Ara Stadium of Bologna as his team were able to maintain a three point edge over second placed Lazio thanks to a victory born out of the final three minutes of the game.

"It was an extremely important and hard fought victory that arrived at the conclusion of a very difficult game. Bologna should not feel as if we stole the game from them, even though Falcone's red card could be considered an injustice. Let's remember that there was also a penalty that was not given to us early in the game," said Ancelotti.

"At this point of the season the important thing is to win, not to play well. With this victory we kept our "bonus" over our adversaries. With only five games left, this is a very important thing to have," continued the former Parma coach.

Finally Ancelotti had a few words for Darko Kovacevic, who sent home the first Bianconeri goal. "Darko is proving how important he can be for this team. He wants to start more often? Let's see if we can make him happy this year or, if this is not possible, in the next."
