ROME (January 13, 2000 7:54 p.m. EST http://www.sportserver.com) - Juventus let slip a three-goal advantage over Lazio and ended up winning their Italian Cup quarterfinal first-leg match 3-2 on Thursday.

Juventus had led 3-0 at halftime but allowed Lazio back into the game as first Fabrizio Ravanelli and then Roberto Mancini kept their side's hopes alive.

Juventus took the lead in the 12th minute through a Zinedine Zidane free kick and added a second goal on the half hour when Antonio Conte finished off a neat move with composure.

Carlo Ancelotti's side looked to have booked a place in the semifinals when Yugoslav striker Darko Kovacevic headed in the third two minutes before the break.

However, former Juventus favorite Ravanelli converted a spot kick in the 52nd minute after Paolo Montero was judged to have handled inside the penalty area.

Mancini grabbed a second goal 10 minutes from the end after Dejan Stankovic fed him with a perfect through pass.
