ten thingsten things

Igor Tudor
He was born in Split, Croatia on 16 April 1978. He learnt his trade at Hajduk Split, where he started his football life as a defensive midfielder, before reverting, at the age of 16, to being a defender.
Igor Tudor is regarded as an important element of Juves future - to the extent that honorary Juventus president Giovanni Agnelli often heaps praise on the talented young defender. He played 23 matches in Serie A last season, scoring one goal in the process.
At only 21 years of age he is already an established star with the Croatian national team. He was a member of the side that finished third in France 98. He occasionally plays for the Croatian under-21 team when needed.
He lives alone in Turin and admits to missing both his parents and sister, Ivona, who regularly stay with him in his flat. They often take along his pet dog, Black.
At present Igor is still single but has said that his ideal girlfriend would have to have a good personality, be lively and above all outgoing, while at the same time be reasonably good looking.
As far as fashion and music go, the young Bianconero star likes to dress casually, wearing a shirt and tie only when absolutely necessary. He occasionally goes out partying with close friends on a Sunday evening.
Tudors one great passion is reading, so much so that his team-mates often poke fun at him. Only time will tell if he is to take over the mantle of "professor" from current incumbent Gianluca Pessotto, himself a bit of a bookworm. He likes to read biographies and thrillers (his last book was The Godfather).
In order to keep up to date with what is going on in his homeland, he has had the Internet installed at home, which he accesses quite often. He has also has a satellite dish so he can pick up the Croatian TV channels.
Although he counts his two closest friends as being Leko and Pletikos, both Hajduk Split players, another great friend of Igors is Zoran Mirkovic, his room-mate at Juve. They always go out together and are regularly joined by Paulo Montero and Mark Iuliano.
He stayed on at school until the age of 18 in order to attend classes in business studies. His preferred subjects were mathematics and finance.
