First Half:
3': Trezeguet heads for Del Piero who shoots from the edge of the box...nice effort, but central and Mazzantini makes the save.
7': The pace of the game is not extremely quick in these first minutes of the match.
10': Grosso slightly touches Zambrotta inside the box who then rolls on the ground. The ref says to play on, but does not yellow card the Juve player.
13': Blasi slides into Zambrotta`s legs and is shown a yellow card.
19': Del Piero takes a shot from outside, the ball is deflected, and Mazzantini makes a great save to send the ball into a Juve corner.
22': Mazzantini comes up big again by denying a Nedved blast with his fists. Nedved is playing a good match this evening.
24': Man advantage for Juve. Blasi takes Del Piero down, and is shown his second yellow card of evening. The ref was a bit harsh there.
31': It`s all Juve, but Perugia are all inside their box, and so the Bianconeri are having problems gettting close range shots off.
34': Corner to Juve, the ball gets to Pessotto who was presiding the edge of the box...his shot goes into the stands.
38': Zambrotta shoots about 5 meters away from the Perugia goal-line...outside of the net. One minute later Del Piero volleys a Tudor cross and he skims the post with a fantastic shot.
41': Davids is warming up on the sidelines.
45': Tudor heads over the bar as one minute of injury time has been awarded.

Second Half:
1': The second half kicks-off. Edgar Davids is on the pitch in the place of Birindelli.
4': Davids looks on-form in these first minutes of the second half.
7': Corner for Juve, Nedved connects with it and scores a goal to Juve, and Nedved finally finds the net with the Juve outfit.
10': Perugia haven`t gotten a shot off on goal yet.
13': Gatti comes on for Grosso in the Perugia lineup.
15': Nedved crosses for Trezeguet, who heads wide of the Perugia net.
20': Di Loreto fouls Zambrotta inside the box...penalty says the ref. But the Perugia players protest, saying the linesman had already raised his flag. And infact after two minutes of discussion the ref only gives Juve a freekick that Perugia clear.
22': Mazzantini is yellow carded for pushing Montero.
24': A Juve defensive mistake allows Bazzani to pick the ball up and cross for Vryzas at the far post. The Greek striker shoots....Buffon makes the easy save. The shot was not dangerous.
28': Zenoni replaces Tacchinardi in the Juve linuep. Some of the Juve crowd booed the Italy international as he left the pitch.
31': Zambrotta flies down the right side of the pitch and crosses at the near post where Trezeguet rises above Di Loreto and heads the ball home for a goal to Juve, and the game is sealed off.
33': Zalayeta replaces Trezeguet in the Juventus lineup.
35': Fusani and Nalitzis replace Baiocco and Bazzani in the Perugia lineup.
42': Three mintues left to the end of the match. With this almost certain win Juve will join AS Roma on 20 points with one match more played.
45': Three minutes of time added on have been awarded.
47': The game is over. Juve defeat Perugia 2-0.
