Napoli's crushing defeat leaves them bottom of Serie A without a point. Cameroon international Pierre Wome opened the scoring before Napoli defender Francesco Baldini put through his own net. Giuseppe Signori struck twice for Bologna either side of a Francesco Moriero consolation goal for Napoli. Argentine striker Julio Cruz closed out the scoring with a header in injury time.
