A fine strike from Savo Milosevic extended Parma's unbeaten run to eight matches. The Yugolsav danced past two players before beating Italy under-21 goalkeeper Ivan Pelizzoli with a delightful 28th minute chip. Atalanta, level on points with fourth-placed Parma before start of play, have not won in their last five home matches.

Bari 0 - Napoli 1

Napoli's first win in seven outings came courtesy of a late strike from Czech midfielder Marek Jankulovski. Bari had a goal ruled out for a foul on the keeper in the first half and their young playmaker Antonio Cassano hit the post in injury time. Bari are bottom and look doomed to relegation, Napoli might still escape.

Roberto Baggio's third goal in as many matches decided this stormy relegation scrap in wich two players were sent off and seven booked. Baggio scored with a 22nd minute free kick before Verona's Mauro Camoranesi was dismissed for elbowing and Natale Gonnella for a second bookable offence. Brescia looked good enough to escape the drop. Verona are 16th and struggling.

Two goals capped an inspired performance from Enrico Chiesa, who took his tally to 16 for the season and four in the past week. His first came from a free kick which deflected off the wall and his second with a bullet of a shot which beat the keeper at the near post. Lecce's fourth consecutive defeat left them in the relegation battle.

Juventus 3 - Inter Milan 1

After an even first half in which Inzaghi struck the crossbar, Juve took the lead in the 50th minute when Alessio Tacchinardi found himself in space on the edge of the area and fired past Inter 'keeper Sebastien Frey. Four minutes later Juve doubled their lead when Inzaghi lost his marker Matteo Ferrari and cut in from the left to beat Frey with a low, angled shot. The result was put beyond doubt in the 63rd minute when Inter's defence stood and watched an Inzaghi cross reach Del Piero and the Juve captain drove home, with the help of a deflection off Inter defender Laurent Blanc. Georgian defnder Kakha Kaladze scored a scrappy opener for Milan but their other two goals were pearls. Brazilian wingback Serginho swept the ball over Udinese keeper Luigi Turci from the corner of the penalty area in the 31st minute before Andriy Shevchenko twisted inside two defenders and fired home a low shot after the break. Milan are unbeaten in six matches and pushing for a Champions League place again.

Reggina 0 - Lazio 2

Attendance: 23,234

Hernan Crespo scored both goals to join Shevchenko at the top of the Serie A scoring lists with 18. His first was a powerful strike into the roof of the Reggina net, his second a delightful chip over the keeper. Fellow Argentine Diego Simeone set up both. Dino Zoff's side stayed third and their title defence was not over.

Last-gasp stuff from Roma, whose controversial injury-time equaliser ensured they remained unbeaten at home in the league since March 19 last year. Television replays suggested Roma's Vincenzo Montella handled the ball during a goalmouth scramble before it richocheted into the net off defender Giovanni Tedesco. Davide Baiocco put Perugia ahead and a terrible blunder from Roma keeper Francesco Antonioli handed them their second.

Vicenza 4 - Bologna 2

Sierra Leone's Mohammed Kallon grabbed two goals in an action-packed tie. Vicenza were 3-0 up and coasting against 10-man Bologna, who then pulled two goals back. Kallon's second sealed Vicenza's valuable three points. Luca Toni, scorer of Vicenza's opener, had another effort disallowed and replays suggested two of Vicenza's goals might have been offside. Bologna midfielder Marcello Castellini was sent off in the 56th minute.
