A Marco Di Vaio header in the 32nd minute promised to give Arrigo Sacchi a winning return to the Parma bench after a 14-year absence, but Christian Vieri's second goal of an injury-plagued season in the 69th earned Inter a draw.

Vugrinec struck a well-taken free kick in the 32nd minute and followed up from the penalty spot four minutes later. Argentine Aldo Osorio hit Lecce's third in the 68th minute before teenager Marco Comotto rounded out the scoring for Vicenza.

Lazio's third straight win on the road. An own goal by Marco Zamboni gave them the lead before Udinese defender Valerio Bertotto was sent off in the 35th minute for handball. Hernan Crespo slotted home the spot kick and when Marcelo Salas made it 3-0 the game appeared over. But Udinese hit back three times after the break through Stefano Fiore, Massimo Margiotta and Argentine Roberto Carlos Sosa. In the end, Crespo's second strike in the 50th minute was enough to give Dino Zoff a winning return as coach. Udinese have now lost six of their last seven matches.

Chiesa has now scored in six consecutive league matches.
