Worzel overhears a conversation between the Crowman and the children, and thinks the Crowman his going to replace him.  So he decides to run away, as usual he's got things wrong...(AR)

Worzel is tired of looking like a tramp, and want to impress Aunt Sally with some new clothes,  so he goes to the local Tailor.  He tries to barter with eggs and Rabbit skins, but is thrown out, so he decides to steal a suit...(MN)

On a freezing day, Worzel thumbs a lift into the local town, to warm himself on the grating above a bakery.  Whilst there he spot a electric blanket demonstration in a local shop, and decides it would be warmer in bed...(MN)

Sue and John laugh when Worzel tell them he saw a ghost the night before, They are convinced he must have saw their snowman.  That would be plausible had the snowman not been knocked down by a tractor in the same evening, does the farm really have a spook?..(MN)

Worzel makes a new year resolution to be better behaved and help people.  So he does thing like cleaning out the farmers petrol tank with water, and washes some dishes in the washing machine, poor Worzel finds that helping people isn't as straightforward as he thought...(MN)

Worzel acquires some 'Corn Dollies', which he adopts as 'his family', when he realises they are not real people, he sets out to make a corn dolly himself, he calls the dolly Cuthbert, and takes him out to show of to the village, but Cuthbert is grotesque and scares the villagers...(MN)

Worzel is reading about Dick Turpin (or Dick Turnip as he thinks he is called) in a discarded comic (Look-in perhaps?...!!!), and as usual gets a brainwave to become like Turpin, he finds an old horse called Hercules in the farmers field, and sets about robbing the rich...!!! (MN)
