Paul's uncle is admitted to St. Swithin's.  He is stinking rich
so the gang plot how to deprive him of some of his money.

Duncan is with duty on an OAP ward, so Loftus sends him
to a children's ward, and Duncan soon realises kids can be
much more of a pain...

turns out to be the man Duncan insulted on his way
to work.

Duncan has secretly planned to have a sculpture made of Loftus to honour him, but Bingham is eavesdropping, and thinks Dunc has planned to murder Loftus and have him replaced...

The lads go on a walking holiday, but whilst out on the first day they spot an unexpected cyclist...Loftus, naturally they go
to great pains to avoid him.

The lads are rehearsing an act for the revue, suddenly a patient walks in and offers to take part, the lads take him up on his kind offer, only to find he is a ventriloquist with a dummy of Loftus!

Duncan and co. are running a 'Souvenir for the patients' racket from St. Swithin's, but when somebody accidentally hears the boys in the cellar, they think St Swithin's is haunted, and send in a ghost hunter.

An older unattractive new psychotherapist has arrived, but Paul has heard that she is a dolly-bird.  Cue a great practical joke by the other lads...

"Caught in the Act"
27/4/74 - No.16 to 25/5/74 - No.20
Dick and Duncan start a fiddle to raise money for a down payment on a TV, so they can charge the other doctors to use it.  When they are caught by Loftus, he promises not to sack them if they can raise the money, and use it for a TV in the OAP's ward.  Time runs out and the lads still haven't raised the money, so before Lofty can sack him he resigns and takes a job as a ships doctor with Dick, aboard the M.S. Begonia......!!!!
