More great scans of Shaqui's collection on the next pages, starting with, 'Space:1999' from 1976 below.  Here this scan is in colour so you can see the yellowing of the text bubbles. The stains on the right are water damage.

'I'm guessing the yellowing is caused by acid in the adhesive. These were probably written on that adhesive backed paper you can get?  Proper art board/paper is acid free so if stored properly, it should last for years. As indeed it appears to have done'. (Shaqui)

And below a frame from 'Black Beauty' (1974), the colour still beautifully vibrant, considering where they were kept and found...

'Apparently there are three IPC warehouses around London where this stuff is just kept - and in none too clean a condition according to Phil (Clarke). Boards are just thrown into plastic bags to protect them, but the storage sounded dirty. Phil described the outer bags being covered in dirt and dust' (Shaqui)
