Innovative Technologies, Inc. (ITI*) is a small South Dakota Corporation located in Vermillion South Dakota. The company has been in existence for five years.
The major thrust of the corporation is to develop consumer products, in particular those that incorporate interactive packaging in their design. This concept is best explained by example using two existing products that are familiar to most everyone. Consider two candies; M&Ms; and Hersey's Kisses. In the case of the foil wrapped Hersey product, not only is there additional cost of packaging material as well as the process but also waste of a natural resource, the aluminum foil. Alternatively, the M&M; product is packaged in an attractive, uniform edible coating is an integral part of the product. The interactive packaging concept does not stop with exterior wrapping of a product but includes other ways in which value added is provided in making the product consumer friendly and useful.
ITI's principals, in addition to developing innovative products for the firm, have also provided on a consulting basis, assistance to a number of U.S. corporations as well to private individuals.
ITI does not have a mission statement, nor does it feel the need for one. Instead, we provide good value for the dollar, committed to developing products targeted at unfulfilled wants and needs. ITI's employees believe that having a good sense of humor is essential in coping in today's environment.
