Notable Facts:
Had developed a great rivalry with Dean Malenko, having classic matches everytime they wrestled together.
Wrestled as Black Tiger in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, he was the second generation Black Tiger.
Was considered one of the best technical & aerial wrestlers in the world.
Eddy Guerrero & Art Barr made up Mexico's most despised tag team, Los Gringos Locos (The Crazy Americans).
Eddy started using the Frog Splash as a tribute to his friend Art Barr who died on 11/23/94 at 28.
Chavo Guerrero Jr. was his nephew.
Youngest son of legend, Gory Guerrero.
Won the U.S. Title on 7/27/2003, defeating Chris Benoit in the tournament final.
Got a big chance on 1/29/2004 when he and Kurt Angle were the only two men left in a Battle Royale and had a scorcher of a final match, Kurt falling over the ropes and hitting the floor. Meaning Eddy would go to No Way Out 2004 and challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Heavyweight Title.
Achieved a dream of one day holding the Heavyweight Title in the WWE by defeating Brock Lesnar at No Way out 2004 after being told he was too short, light, or didn't have the right look by disbelievers.
Embraced and cried with his close friend Chris Benoit after Benoit had won the World Heavyweight Title (RAW), at Wrestlemania 20 on 3/17/2004. Both of them had now claimed their dreams together as they had set out to do after the doubters said no way.
His older brothers are Chavo, Mando, & Hector. Grew up watching them in the spotlight with his Father.
Passed away on November 13th, 2005.
Was truly one of the best and top wrestlers on the planet.
