Born on April 10th, Tsuyoshi is turning 21 years old. Becoming a member of KinKi Kids since junior high, Tsuysohi's life changed 180 degrees. So much has happened in the past few years, and this is what he has to say....

Age 0

From what I heard, on the day when I was born, my doctor was not with me because he went to a barbar (laughs) [Tsuyoshi says this because there is a picture of young Tsuyoshi with messy hair] I was fighting hard on the virge of birth. Many people commented on how big and red my eyes were. A lot of people actually mistakens me for being a girl.

Age 1

I went to the park with my family. This reminds me of the fear I have for going to parks because I was kicked by a dear when I was little. When I was young, I am very dependent of my mother. I'd cry instantly when she's not by my side.

Age 5

This photo was taken when I was in elementry school. On sports day, there was a special event and our class gets to dress up as superman for our running race. I wore a pink cape and it felt special. It's funny how a little change could make a day feel different. Anywheres, I don't remember who won the race, but I know that I was running very fast. From that time until now, I don't like to compete with other people.

Age 7

I went out with my family again. I forgot where did we go. I also don't know why I had to take a picture with this thing. (laughs) As a kid, I don't like having my picture taken. [but, in the picture, Tsuyoshi doesn't looked as if dislike having his picture taken!] I was just thinking, "give them a nature look, and that'll be all" (laughs)

Age 10

This picture is really good (laughs) [Tsuyoshi does a pose. pretty funny actually] This picture was taken in the residence of a theatre. It was in 1989 when I was 10 years old. I was in a show, and I play the main character's son.

Age 11

I started to grow tall at this age. Because of that, my knees were very sore. The pain was quite serious; I even fell down. I told my mom about it and suggested that I stay at home that day, but my mom didn't believe me and told me to hurry up and go to school (laughs)

Age 11

My family and I went to Hawaii. I wasn't looking forward for this trip because I like staying at home rather than go out. I was those type of kids who is afraid of getting sick or injured during the holidays. Because that's the way I see things, I didn't truely enjoy this trip. I feel that Japan is the safest place. Home is the safest place (laughs).

Tsuyoshi's present thoughts

I just turned 21 years old on April 10th, and I didn't feel any different. My friends though, told me that I've matured. Personally, I don't feel very different from the age 20 and 21. Nothing has changed, I'm still at home. I spend my time on getting ready for our summer concerts, watching TV, eating.....

I can cook by myself. I usually make hamburgers by myself. When I have time, I make my burgers from the scratch. I'll buy some meat and make my own patty. I prefered eating food made by myself. I even made my own sauce. I don't like making side dishes. Too boring? That's OK. I'm the only at home (laughs).

I don't like going out. Recently, I don't feel like going out or talking to anyone on the phone. But when the time comes, I'd be going out with friends every day. That time has yet to come, right now I just want to be alone.

Recently, I'm very independent. I go out by myself and buy a lot of things like clothes on my own without other people's opinion. I like buying clothes. I even bought an orange pair of pants. They are very flashy. I don't usually buy flashy colored clothes, but I think it's good for a change sometimes.

Other than that, I also bought some hats. Recently, I become very interested in buying hats especially those really stylish ones. Now it's time for me to change my appearance? (laughs).
