Cesky Krumlov Vltava Rose Logo
Vltava River
Five-Petal Rose, logo of the Rozmberk family.
The Rozmberk (Rosenberg) family was one of the most influencial owners of the Cesky Krumlov castle. Their logo, a five-petal rose, represents the five sons of the first Rozmberk to own the castle, and is symbolic of the distribution of his estate.
This river, also known as the Moldau, is the same river that flows through Prague.

CESKY KRUMLOV
CESKY KRUMLOV
Cesky Krumlov is a medieval town located southern Bohemia which has retained much of its original character.  The mighty Renaissance castle was once the seat of the powerfull lords of the Rozmberk (in English, Rosenberg) and Schwarzenberg families.  The castle also housed a unique and exceptional baroque theater--one of only two theaters of this kind in the entire world.  The other is in the royal palace in Drottningholm, Sweden.
