Coming in May, 2000 Darklight #1 is finally coming out. Teri finished this over 2 years ago so I'm glad to see it finally hit the stores. Teri says that she's thrilled to finally know they're going to print, but admits that at present there are no plans to go further with the project. Still, one never knows what can happen in a crazy industry like this one. Meanwhile, Teri is working on another series, an E-Comic for the time being, called BLOODLINES, which she hopes to have a free preview issue out sometime around April or May. |

Teri sent me a couple more pages of Darklight #2. Hopefully these will help tide all of us over until we get to see issue #1. |

Teri has finished #3 (well, a few weeks ago she finished it, but I just got the pages ready for net viewing now). So go on over to the Issue #3 section and enjoy! It looks great as always. |
Teri has decided to do a favor for all those fans who want some artwork from her (and to raise a bit of cash for those details of life, like rent, food, etc). She is selling custom artwork for $25-$300 depending on what you want. For $25 you get an 8 1/2 x 11 pencil drawing, to $300 for a 10 x 15 painted cover for your own comic, but you have to do the rest of the comic though... 8) Just click here for all the details. This now includes some pages from Wandering Star as well. |
As some of you know, there was a running feud between Teri and Dave Strom in Amazing Heroes back when she was doing The Cartoonist and he was doing Strom's Index. It was all in good fun, but they needed a good conclusion. Sadly, Teri didn't put it into The Cartoonist comic that came out recently. Luckly, Dave sent me a copy of the page and now its here for all of you to see. Just click here to see it. Also of note is the fact that Dave recently did a trade with Teri. She did a few pages for a new comic he's doing while he paid for her computer. A win-win situation (especially for all of us fans). To see what she did for him click here. Also, for those of you who are artists Dave is still looking for a few to help him out. He won't always pay as nicely as he did for Teri, but he does pay 8). Just look at this page to find out how you can contact him for more info. |
Way back in the 80's Teri's dream was to do work for DC (she'd still kill [OK, maim] to do a Sandman story). Yup, good ol' work for hire. Luckly DC showed a complete lack of taste so Teri decided to do The Cartoonist, then Wandering Star and now Darklight. So take a look and see what might have been. |
Decided I was bored with the same old hourglass so I made some new ones. Take a look at this page to see what the 3 hourglass replacements look like (and to download them). |
Well, Teri said I could so I put up a few new/old items. The image to the right is from a short strip she did that shows what famous comic artists do between comics. Also, the cover to the mini-Wandering Star #1 is up along with a page from the insides of that issue. |
Back in the early 80's Teri did a series of Star Trek cartoon strips for a local Trekkie (oops, Trekker) fanzine. It was fairly popular from what I've heard and helped launch her into comics. Give a looksee here and find out what she looked like way back when. |
Well, I got it and now I've got a preview up. Issue #2 of Darklight is up with 2 preview pages, #14 and #19. I must say, they look great! |
Thanks to an old friend of Teri's I've now got a scanned copy of some of the original Wandering Star mini-comic. Just take a look and you'll see the way she started out. Oh, just so you all know, Teri told me that she was going through a period where she wanted to work for Marvel when she did this. |
In addition to the painted cover of #2 (see the front page), I finally got around to adding another page here. Figured now that we have this delay till September I should let you all see some more of Darklight #1. |
I've added a link to this page for the USA National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to go along with the link to Child Find Canada. If you know of other sites that should be added please let me know. |
Teri's friend, Rhonda, just sent me a file with a few preview pages and a calendar among other things. I've set up one preview page and calendar in the Darklight section for all to see. |
The Cartoonist section now has the new logo and cover to the comic book. Darklight now has the new logo (shown in The Cartoonist comic) plus the full page ad from the back of The Cartoonist. |
Anyone who's been here before can see I've done some major restructuring here. I decided to try a new look, with a side frame. The Cartoonist now has its own section, which will hopefully have other images added in the near future. Also, the covers section in Wandering Star is slowly being filled in with info. You'll hopefully see sections for other Teri stuff soon. Oh yes, and there is a photo gallery in Teri's Bio area now. |
