�Yes Mr. Porter.� The wolf fur replied as he entered his boss�s office.
�I told you to have these reports finished yesterday.� The angry man roared and tossed a pile of papers on his desk.
�Yes, but the server was down and I wasn�t able to��
�I DON�T WANT TO HEAR YOUR EXCUSES! The next time you miss a deadline like that YOUR GONE! CAPISH?�
�Yes sir it won�t happen again.� Inuyasha replied and stormed out of the room.
As the wolf walked back to his cubicle, Stacey stood up and started to wave to him. �Inuyasha.�
He quickly worked his way over to her desk. In an office of humans, Stacey was one of the few that would talk to a fur like him. Most of the people that worked at Hitiash Corporation never seen a fur before, much less worked with one. But that didn�t matter to her.
�Hi Stacey.� Inuyasha said trying to force a smile.
�Well good morning handsome.� She replied showing off a mouth full of pearly whites. �You don�t look so good. Mr. Porter pissed off about something again?�
�Yeah. As usual everything is my fault around here. What am I supposed to do about a crashed��
�The server again! I wish they would fix that thing. You know when I signed on this morning the system logged me into Mr. Porter�s account. And when I went to log out��
�STACY! GET IN MY OFFICE NOW!�
�Oh damn, looks like it�s my turn now. Talk to you later Inuyasha.�
Inuyasha walked back to his cubicle and watched Stacey go into Mr. Porter�s office. The door slammed shut behind her and then the yelling started. Even with his ultra sensitive rabbit ears the voices were still muffled. All he could make out was something about the computer account. Well it was time to get back to work�
CRASH!!! AHHHHHH!!!

�It�s just Inuyasha.�
�Yes of course, Inuyasha. So you say that Stacey seemed fine when you talked to her.�
�She mentioned something about her computer being screwed up but that was a server��
�The server problem, yes. But Mr. Porter says he found her hacking into sensitive company files. We believe that this is why she may have jumped.�
�I�m telling you Stacey would never do that! Detective Stone I know her. She doesn�t steal and wasn�t suicidal��
�People aren�t always what they seem to be Inuyasha. And people sometime take extreme measures when they get caught doing these types of things.� The Detective replied and handed Inuyasha a business card, �Listen if you think of anything else please give me a call.�
�But Detective��
�This case is closed. Now go home and get some sleep. Your boss has given you tomorrow off.� Detective Stone replied and patted Inuyasha on the back.

�Yes this is Inuyasha calling, account #984403. I�m at work and my car won�t start. Can you send a tow truck?�
�Of course sir. Let me check the computer here and� Ok we�ve got a truck in your area. Hitiash Corporation correct?�
�Yes. I�m in the rear parking lot.� He replied rather aggravated. Why did this have to happen to him today?
�Alright Inuyasha I�ve dispatched the truck. However he�s in the middle of another call at the moment and is going to be 20-40 minutes. Is that alright?�
�Guess I don�t have any other choice!� Inuyasha replied trying not to totally flip out on the AAA lady.
�Thank you for calling AAA, my name is Joanne. Have a nice day.�
The wolf hung up the phone and got out of his car. 40 minutes! Great! Just freaking�
�Did you have to kill her?� A faint but familiar voice whispered in the distance.
�She was in my account all morning. She would have found the files��
�Shhhh! Did you hear something?�
Inuyasha quickly ducked behind his car. By now he had identified his boss and the company�s president, Mr. Jackson. Both were standing several rows down by Mr. Jackson�s Cadillac. They must have come outside while he was on the phone.
�What? I didn�t hear anything sir.� Mr. Porter replied.
�Are you sure this lot is empty?�
�Yeah this lot is only used by the employees if the front one is full. These are all company cars� Wait a second that�s not one of ours�� Mr. Porter announced pointing to Inuyasha�s car.
Unfortunately for Mr. Porter and Jackson Inuyasha already had a pretty good idea what had happened in the office. He gave some thought to calling Detective Stone but had a better idea instead.
�What was so important that you had to kill Stacy?� He asked while emerging from the shadows.
�Inuyasha? What are you still doing here?� Mr. Porter asked rather shocked.
�Why did you kill her?� Inuyasha asked again more aggressively.
�I� I don�t know what you�re talking about wolf man. And another thing��
Inuyasha�s ears shot straight back as he began the transformation. He grinned with anticipation as the cruel human bosses seemed to get smaller and smaller at his feet. Within a few seconds the wolf could see over the company Headquarters� roof.
�Oh my god!� Mr. Jackson hollered and started to run.
With a grin, Inuyasha swung one of his paws onto the company president. Once the man�s body was totally covered by the mammoth foot the megawolf shifted his weight onto it. He felt the pathetic man explode underneath and let out a victorious roar.
After allowing a few moments to enjoy the kill Inuyasha drew his attention back to Mr. Porter, �For the last time� Why did you kill her?�
�We were stealing money� Just a little of the top� I thought she found out�� Porter cried out pitifully begging for his life.
Now even more pissed than ever, the megawolf bent over and picked up his boss. �You killed her for money!�
�We stole a couple of million. They would have put us in jail if��
�I DON�T CARE HOW MUCH YOU STOLE!� Inuyasha growled, �You didn�t have to kill her��
�It was an accident... We got into an argument and she was in front of the window and��
�SHUT UP!� Inuyasha growled. Mr. Porter�s begging and pathetic attempts to justify his actions only mad him angrier.
�Please Inuyasha don�t crush me�� The man continued out of blind fear, �I�ll give you anything. Money� A Promotion��
�Oh don�t worry MR. PORTER, I�m not going to crush you.� He replied evilly.
Grasping Mr. Porter�s clothing with two fingers the megawolf lifted the man high into the air. He picked a position equal to the roof�s edge. Then with a cruel grin Inuyasha let go�
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! SPLAT!!!

�So Inuyasha let me make sure I have this right. You say that you found the smashed remains of Mr. Jackson over there while waiting for a tow truck. Then you saw Mr. Porter jump from the roof of the building a few minutes later.�
�That�s right.� Inuyasha replied calmly.
�But you didn�t see what turned your company president into a pancake. And you didn�t see anyone else in the parking lot until the truck arrived.�
�Nope.�
�Are you sure there is nothing else you want to share with me?�
�Nope.� He could tell Detective Stone suspected him but couldn�t prove a thing.
�Well then you�re free to go. I�ve got your number if we need you.�
Inuyasha shook the Detective�s hand and walked over to an awaiting cab. It had been one hell of a long day. Despite the tragic events he knew one thing for certain, it was time to get a new job.
