| On the count, murder in the first degree, how does the jury find? The jury finds the defendant NOT GUILTY. Simon collapsed onto the floor, those words blew through him like a bolt of lightning. Tears started to roll down his cheeks. The system failed him in the worst possible way. So now he had to do something. ************************************************************************************ The dark creepy alley was not the place to be on a Friday night. Teenage gangs and street thugs tend to come out at this time. But the instructions were to wait there and someone would come. Simon? A sweet feminine voice asked. He turned around to find a 8 ft tall lion fur. She was covered in beautiful beige fur wearing shorts, a tee shirt, and a pair of boots. Despite her size and powerful appearance, the lioness had a models figure. Yes, Im Simon. He replied nervously. Hello, Im Kayla. Ill be your contact. Nodding in acknowledgement, Simon couldnt help but think of how gorgeous Kayla was. Although he had never given any thought to a human/fur relationship before, her beauty made him consider it. Then the guilt set in and he banished the idea. Simon please tell me about this man you want taken care off. After taking a moment to compose himself Simon told Kayla about Malik. Malik was the man whom just three days ago walked out of a courtroom on a technicality and back onto the streets. The man that raped his wife. The man that slit her throat and burned the body to make sure she didnt talk. The loss of his beloved wife had taken everything from him. His happiness, reason for living, even his dignity were now gone. All that was left now was the need for closure, the need for revenge. Kayla walked over and placed her hand on his shoulder comfortingly. Im sorry for your loss. Thank you. Will your boss do this job for me? I dont know. My job is to check out your story, make sure you can pay the fee, and contact you once he decides whether or not to take the contract. Kayla explained professionally. When will I know if hell do it? Go home and get some sleep. Ill contact you in two days. ************************************************************************************ RING, RING, RING 8 oclock already RING, RING, RING Sluggishly Simon stumbled out of bed and picked up the phone, Hello 830 Winchester Way, Apt 228. Be there at noon. The caller hung up before allowing him to say anything. Quickly he jotted down the address before it slipped his weary mind. ************************************************************************************ KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK Come in. A sweet female voice said from inside. Simon opened the unlocked door and walked inside. Kayla was sitting on a recliner in the living room of the small apartment purring. A dog fur was massaging lotion into the soft leather pads on her feet. Although she seemed to be rather enjoying the treatment, her attention was now totally on him. Hello Simon. The lioness said with a warm smile. Did your boss make a decision? Simon asked nervously. Of course. Please have a seat. Simon sat down on a nearby couch. He started to talk then noticed that the dog fur was still pampering his hostesss feet. Oh dont worry about Max. Hes one of the bosss clients who couldnt pay the bill. So he gave him to me to work off the debt. However if his presence bothers you She replied and waved to him. Max kissed her toes and got up. He then scurried out the front door. But there was something about the look on his face that didnt seem right My employer has instructed me to explain the terms of the contract to you before you agree. If you break any of them Well please just dont break any of them. Kayla explained calmly. I understand. Simon replied. Good. There are three terms you must follow. First payment is expected in full, in advance. Second, never tell the police ANYTHING. And the third and most important term, there can be NO witnesses to the job. That includes you. But how will I know if it has been done? The job is always done someplace where the police will find the body. All youll have to do is turn on your TV. Just make sure you go to a public place while its being done. That way you will have an alibi. Ok but I have one request. I dont care how you do it Just make that bastard suffer. An almost malicious grin came over Kaylas face, Well we figured you would want it done that way. That wont be a problem at all. The two shook hands. Kayla wouldnt tell him where the job was to be done. But she did tell him it would be done tomorrow evening after he dropped the payment off at her place. On the way out of the apartment building Simon noticed Max arguing with some fur. As he got closer he could hear what they were saying... Please I didnt see anything. But you broke the contract. You know what that means. Max growled Max started to lift the fur off the ground but then noticed Simon. Startled, he put the fur back down and brushed him off. The fur went running down the stairs. You didnt see a thing Simon Right? Simon shook his head in acknowledgement and dashed past the growling dog fur. ************************************************************************************ BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP Simon rolled over and hit the snooze button. It was almost 9 oclock but thankfully he was still on personal leave from work. There was only one thing he had to worry about today. While getting dressed, a story on the morning news caught his attention. The police found the body of an unidentified fur ripped to pieces near Kaylas apartment. They believed that a large powerful animal of some sort attacked him. Authorities were now trying to identify the fur in hope of getting some leads. Then a picture of the furs face was show. Simons heart skipped a beat. The fur on the news It was the same one Max was arguing with yesterday. ************************************************************************************ Simon went to Kaylas apartment to drop off the money as instructed. She wasnt there but Max was. However instead of leaving to create an alibi Simon posted outside in his car. He had to see the job done for himself. Soon Max came out of the building. He jumped into a car near the main entrance and drove off down the street. Simon followed him, being careful to stay far enough behind not to be noticed. Before long, they found themselves in Maliks neighborhood. Max parked his car tactically behind Maliks apartment building and went up the fire escape. He then quietly made his way into Maliks apartment. After about 5 minutes he was back out with the bastard tied up with some rope. Apparently the job was to be done someplace else. Once back to his car, Max drove off with Malik in the trunk. Simon followed him discretely until they reached the city park. The dog fur found a secluded spot to park the car and carried the bound rapist into the woods. Simon carefully followed. Max laid Malik down in the middle of large field and started to sniff the air. Afraid the dogs nose would pick up his scent, Simon crawled under a bush that had fresh flowers growing out of it. The only problem was he could only see out of a small gap in the branches. Suddenly the ground started to shake violently. At first Simon thought it was a minor tremor, common in that area, but then he saw the paw. It was a macros paw, big as his car! Unfortunately he couldnt see any higher than the ankle because of the branches. But he could still see Malik. The paw immediately engulfed Maliks body, leaving only the head exposed between the toes. Then slowly it began to press down on him. The rapist screamed out in pain as his body began to slowly compress. The macro cruelly started with his legs and little by little worked up the body crushing it into the ground. The agonizing screams that filled the air soon climaxed with a loud crunch and then silence. As Simon stared at the face of his wifes flattened killer, a demented satisfaction overtook him. That monster had finally paid the price for what he had done and now was burning in hell. It was finally time to get on with his life. Time to heal. Carefully Simon climbed out of the bush and started back to the car. But before he got to it he felt a dull thump and everything went black. As his vision returned a large furry object filled his line of sight. A moment later his eyes focused on the macros blood soaked paw. Then slowly he gazed up to see... Kayla? Why did you break the contract Simon? I told you not to come. She replied in a disappointed tone. I had to see it for myself. I needed closure. I understand. But you broke the most important term of the contract. Now you know who I am. So I hope you understand what I must do. She was right he broke the contract. So as her paw swung over his body there was only one thing left to do. Scream |
