Jay Finocchiaro - Actor
Jay started at the
early age of 6 in the performing industry and has continued to pursue
his work as an actor and performer ever since.
His performance experience consists of work for the live and recorded
medium in the commercial and independent scene for both Australia and
overseas.
Jay trained at The Australian College of Entertainment for a number of
years and performed in numerous conventions, concerts, cabaret and promotional
show. His theatrical debut came in 1991 with the Gordon Frost smash hit
musical "The King & I" starring Hayley Mills.
Since then, Jay has continued to work with a number of Australian and
international artists and directors.
Although unmentioned at the time, during Yr. 11 at SJC, Jay received a
Medibank Private Nomination Award for his service in the Performing Arts
at the 1998 Young Australian of the Year Awards. Jay thanks SJC for their
generous support and opportunity during his years there.
