CHRISTOPHER STOLLERY Class of 1983

Christopher Stollery as the pragmatic Mark Antony in Bell Shakespeare Company's Julius Caesar.

Actor. Film, TV Drama Director

One of Australia's most accomplished actors, Christopher is just as at home on stage as he is on TV and in the movies. With a swag of TV commercials to his name as well, Christopher is a popular choice with producers, while being discerning about the roles he accepts.

Often seen on stage with John Bell's Shakespeare Company, Christopher also works with Jeremey Sims' Pork Chop Productions.

Away from the stage Christopher is extending his talents to directing for film and television.

As an actor he has appeared in A Country Practice, Water Rats, Heartbreak High, The Flying Doctors, State Coroner and, more recently, the ABC mini-series, The Farm.

Three years ago he turned his hand to directing and provided himself with what he jokingly refers to as a "meal ticket" which took him to Spain, Poland and New York.

His short film 'Fine' was selected for the 1999 St Kilda Film Festival and was a finalist at the Manhattan Short Film Festival and his film 'Prick' was a Tropfest finalist and was nominated for an AFI award.

Christopher future plans include furthering his career as a film director.
