Andrew Taylor has been a Cameraman at the ABC since 1986.
Travelling to over 75 countries around the globe, and throughout
Australia.
1996 - present:
Cameraman - 4 Corners, ABC-TV, Sydney.
Covering Australia and the Pacific, Asia, North America and Europe.
(currently working with Sound Recordist Gep Bartlett - also Joey's year
of '82)
1995-97:
Cameraman/Editor - ABC London Bureau.
ABC 'Foreign Correspondent¹
shoots including: Rwanda, Angola, Zaire, Bosnia, Serbia, Kosovo and
throughout Europe.
1992-93:
Cameraman/Editor - ABC Moscow Bureau. Covering the shelling
of the Russian White House and the battle for the Russian Television Centre
in
which 7 journalists were killed.
1991:
Cameraman/Editor - ABC Gulf War coverage.
Awards:
Walkley Award for Cinematography - winner in 1994 and 1995,
Highly Commended in 1997 and finalist in 2000 and 2002.
Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) Awards - 12 awards in various
categories including a Golden Tripod in 1994 for The Moscow Uprising.
