FAQ
Q: First off, why did you start this comic?

A: Well, it was a sunny, September afternoon, and I was trying to get out of math homework. And we all know what freakishly deformed and twisted things can be formed when you're trying to evade math homework.

Now back to being serious, like most sprite webcomic authors, I read all the greats. And... the bads. Whoo boy, were there a lot of bad ones! So one day, I got a little curious. After looking at the good ones, I wondered... could I do as good of a job as that? After looking at the bad ones, I wondered... could I do better and maybe improve the stereotypical image of an average sprite comic? And Boredom was started.

Q: Are all of your answers going to be this long-winded?

A: Quiet you. Next question.

Q: Um... ok. How long does it usually take you to make a comic?

A: Depends. If I'm focused on what I'm doing, a short time. If I'm not, a LONG time. And unfortunately, I'm rarely completely focused on the comic.

Q: How come the early comics look so crappy?

A: Hey, I started this more than a year ago; as far as I know, it was long before handy-dandy comic-making FAQs and easily found .gif converters. So I had to use Paint to save them.

But if you're referring to the quality of the jokes, I'm going to have to inform you that as we speak, your car is being smeared with dead trout, and your family is being keyed and scratched up. It might be the other way around, but either way, you won't like it.

Q: What's your updating schedule?

A: I usually update every weekday, and occasionally, a One-Shot Sunday.

Q: ... One-Shot Sunday?

A: Yes, it's my attempt at one panel humor. I do it every so often on Sundays, when I have the time. It's in a completely different universe than Boredom's, so I can do whatever random crap I want to do in it. Fun fun.

Q: Hm... One panel... Different universe... Doesn't that sound a little familiar?

A: Yes, it should, if you've heard of such one panel strips such as The Far Side, Dennis the Menace, and the Family Circus. Of course, in The Far Side's Case, I combined his love of fat kids and cows into the character we all know as Chubbsy, er, Dr. Light.

Q: How can I contact you?

A: well, you can probably just click
here. However, do you see that Author dance thing on the main page (unfortunately, it's still messed up right now)? Well, if you click on that, that'll open up an e-mail window, too. If you really feel the need to IM me, my screen name is DagoofJoe.

If I get anymore questions, I'll put them up.
