Vince McMahon was shown backstage with one TV showing Nitro with Jeff Jarrett and the other showing Raw Is War. Vince said now that he owns both companies tonight he will make history. Then he spells out Jarrett�s name and asks �can you spell G-O-N-E?�

They show Lex Luger on the Nitro TV and Vince says �the Lex Express days are over!�

2. William Regal vs. Crash Holly w/Molly resulted in a No Contest
Near the end of the match Doink the Clown attacked Regal before revealing himself as Chris Jericho.

Vince is backstage with Trish Stratus noting that Regal was embarrassed, he points at the TV showing Nitro with Dustin Rhodes and says �talking of embarrassments, that used to be Goldust and he wanted to have implants!�

Vince McMahon�s Statement about the Purchase of WCW!:
Commentator Paul Heyman complimented Vince like crazy, which lead Jim Ross to ask if he's looking for a raise. Vince said Raw is being seen on TNN and TNT! He said he has bought his competition because Time Warner begged him to buy WCW. But he said he has not signed the contract yet and he would not unless Ted Turner himself asked him to at Wrestlemania! Vince said he could make WCW big again or even watch Hulk Hogan doing his ridiculous flexing, but if he did he asked the crowd which wrestlers he should employ. Vince asked �Hulk Hogan? Lex Luger?� (the crowd booed), �Buff Bagwell? Booker T?� (the crowd gave a mixed reaction), �Big Poppa Pump?� (received cheers, then the fans started chanting Goldberg), Vince asked �do you want Sting?� (everyone cheered), �do you want Goldberg?� (everyone cheered again). Vince then said it was appropriate that the last Nitro was in a beer hall and he would put WCW on the shelf and it would be buried. But just then Shane McMahon's music interrupted as he was on Nitro! He said that Vince�s ego got the best of him and whilst he hesitated Shane signed the contract and now owned WCW and just like in the past they will kick Vince�s ass!

Mick Foley Returns!:
Foley pulled out a contract and told Vince that he can referee any match at Wrestlemania and he will during the Shane vs. Vince match!

5. Hardcore Match: Big Show def. Chris Jericho
At the end of the match Kane assaulted the Big Show, Raven hit Kane, then Regal gained his revenge by attacking Jericho allowing Big Show to win.

The Dudley Boyz were shown at WWF New York.

6. �Stone Cold� Steve Austin & The Rock def. The Undertaker & Kane
During the match Triple H attacked The Undertaker causing him to lose.
