Opening: The students will begin by reading Don Brown's books and
choosing their favorite historical figure. After choosing their figure, the students
will use Don Brown's book along with other books about their figure to better bring
their historical figure to life.
Main Activity or Activities:
One day
will be set aside for the students to either come dressed as their favorite historical
figure or bring the puppets they have created to reenact their favorite scene.
Questions
to Ask: What should your character be wearing? What should be present in your setting
to portray the time in which it is taking place? What type of personality will you
take on?
Closing: The entire class will discuss the presentations and their
accuracy.
5. Materials: Don Brown books and other biographical resources.

and the discussions afterwards.
