My Uk Adventure

I arrived back to the UK, flying into Gatwick I got a lift to the nearest motorway to get back home. I tried hitching at the nearest intersection but no one would stop, I looked around the area and in the hedgerows I saw an old rusty bike, it was still ride-able.

So I headed for the nearest town, when I got there, I found the scarf I was wearing was getting entangled around the rear wheel and eventually I couldn't ride any further.

So I abandoned the bike, nearby was a train station, and as I had no money, I asked one of the station staff if I could travel on the train to get back home; He told me I couldn't help me, so I walked around the area & eventually found myself outside a convent.

I went in and asked the nun's if they had any food and drink, which they kindly supplied. Thank you Lord!

Although they told me I couldn't stay there, they very kindly contacted a local pastor who came and picked me up and took me to stay at home with his family.

More blessings!

The next day I went to one of his services, after which, he took me to the nearest intersection (further up from where I had tried the previous day). Then I got a lift and eventually arrived (at my mates flat) until I could get some accommodation sorted out,  (but, that's another story)

WoW! What an end to my Aussie adventures
