Jerry
in his Solo Pepsi Commercial Ad
As
reported by the hk media, Pepsi has renewed their contracts with F4, but
this time round, each has his own contract and of course, there's a
difference in the payouts. Jerry Yan is reported as being paid
TW$15 million, tops among F4, but when F4's manager Yao Yijun learnt of this
news, she said laughingly: "Surely not so little! Don't talk about
earnings lah!"
As understood, the
new Pepsi commercial featuring Jerry Yan alone will start filming at this
month's end, and the production fee has also hit new heights. As
understood, there will be a lot of action scenes in this commercial, and
Jerry Yan will try, as much as possible, to take up the scenes personally.
In order to be able to handle the dangerous moves in the commercial, he
especially underwent a series of monster training, Pepsi even bought him
an insurance of around TW$50
million. Other than these, he'll also be
singing the theme song of the commercial. Pepsi expressed that they also
have special arrangements for the other F3, they will, based on each of
F3's individual characteristics, design unique commercials for each of
them.

F4's
Concert in the Philippines & their newest TV Drama
ABS-CBN
announced earlier that they were currently persuading F4 to have a concert
in the Philippines. Reportedly, they might bring F4 in the country by
August. It's August now, and there were no any signs that the
reported concert will be accomplished this month. F4's management
authority were asking for a fee of $1Million US Dollars (Imagine? I think
that's ranging to 53-54 Million in Php!) and ABS-CBN "probably"
could not immediately compensate the said price as meant for their silence. But don't
worry guys, I heard SONY will produce the concert themselves but not this
year. Perhaps by early month next year the dream concert will finally come
to reality. Aside from the concert they were said to to promote their
newest TV drama entitled "Meteor Farm" together with
Barbie Xu
again. Well then we'll have to look forward to that.=p -By

Pepsi
Blue Charity Concert
Pepsi Blue Power
Charity Show was held yesterday (March 8) at Hong Guan. The artists
performing were Aaron, Sammi, Xiao Zhen Nan, Edison, Shine and from Taiwan
there were F4, Comic Boyz, and Jay. F4 was the first performing guest

them. They used cantonese to greet the fans and also showed their good
friendship on stage. After that Sammi used a Dao Ming Si style to say,
"If sorry is enough then why need police?" and she sang Moon
represent my heart with Jerry. Sammi even use her song to wish F4 a bright
future. When Sammi was singing, Jerry was backup dancing for her and they
were very intimate as they danced hot dance together and also held hand.
Aaron ended the show with his dance.

Blow
by blow Accounts of the "THE EVENT" Concert
Yes,
there were minor injuries nearing concert time since people
lined up for more than 2 hours in the rain. ( This
part was so disgusting and I had sent email to ABS CBN so as
to reach the organizers’ attention. I saw Susan
Lim that evening at the
Whistle
Stop restaurant in Eastwood with her party after the
concert and was tempted to confront her. I was with my
boyfriend, sister, and niece.
I felt that the venue was not favorable that moment.)
Thanks
to Gary V for pacifying the crowd before entry of the
Taiwanese guests.
There
was only one entrance gate which opened at 6 p.m.and that
catapulted to a series of untoward incidents before the
concert started. The concert venue was heavily filled up with
people from all walks of life (
young and old, foreign guests, locals, Chinese, Caucasians,
professionals, et al…) it compensated well when Barbie
showed up on stage and the crowd went gaga over Barbie’s
entry.( Believe it
or not, the rain halted ). I must admit she was
beautiful as per my sister’s description but plainly I think
she was “ glowing “. Her performance with the her sister
Dee was amusing since it was a Chinese broadway performance coupled with an outrageous
costume accentuated with flowers including the microphone.
Though majority of the crowd did not understand the lyrics,
people were appreciative manifested by their clapping of
hands, lengthy giggles and shoutings. The spectators loved and
adored her for
there was sincerity in her expressing “ Mahal ko kayo “
sweetly as San Cai. The best part when Dee and her led the
singing of Meteor Garden’s Quing Fei by Harlem Yu as their
third song for that evening.
The crowd sang it beautifully by heart as
if it was the national anthem of the entire nation. Barbie was
teary eyed for having not anticipated’s Filipinos talent in
language adaptability
Then,
Vanness was introduced and SHALOM,
everybody was hysterical as he started to show his
moves and grooves. He was truly sexy on stage with that short
and new hairstyle. He was sporty dressed with matching white
beret. But what captivated me was when he deviated from the
program proper and opted to sing a Christian song as an
appreciation for the audience’s enthusiasm and great
sacrifice. ( I salute Vanness for performing beyond what was expected of him to reach
out to his audience).
Ken’s
presence transformed the stage into a hypnosis. He was
gorgeous! His voice had improved a great
deal. Consistently, the spectators adulated him more
when he requested everyone to be careful and not to hurt each
other. Naturally, his signature song, “HERE WE ARE “
shrieked the crowd. He was perspiring profusely because of the
heat and energy from the spot lights.
Ken
and Vanness sang together as for their finale number. It was
a natural high for everyone. The beautiful display of
fireworks deviated the crowd’s attention as organizers
carried our foreign guests back to EDSA Shangrila.

Vanness'
Interview After The Concert
HAPPINESS
IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN A LOST WATCH
September 12, 2003 at around past 10 am, ASOS, Dee and Barbie and their mother
arrived the Philippines via China Airlines. As expected there were lots of
people waiting for them including employees from the airport. Others even took a
leave from their offices and didn't report to school just to take a glimpse on
the equally talented Xu sisters. An incident happened during their entry to the
door airport when Barbie's watch was intentionally
snatched by an unknown person and as others knew, he or she was a filipino!
(obviously). We failed to get Xu's comment on this and asked Vanness Wu if he
ever knew about this.
"Barbie told us about that and she said she has lost her watch, she was
trying to tell the security about the incident but due to the crowd and noise,
she was never heard. She was a bit disappointed about that because the watch was
a bit important to her and I told her, after the concert, never mind the watch,
see what kind of crowd we had during the event and even if it is expensive, the
happiness we had was immeasurable and un-comparable. It was triple the amount of
the stolen watch. You may have lost your watch, but the fact that you have made
a big impact on the filipino audience and made them extremely happy, its more
worth it. Actually it can happen everywhere, anywhere, we have lost things also
when we were in Barcelona, even in America, you cannot choose the place, it just
became an issue because it occurred in the Philippines, sometimes when you just
had a special show in a particular
place, stories will come out but it's not big deal. NO matter what, I still will
come back to the Philippines if time permits. My message to the one who got the
watch? Ah, no comment! Just keep and cherish it!"
"I'LL
NEVER FORGET THE FILIPINO FANS"
"I am so thankful to the fans who have been supporting us, most especially
during our recent show in the Philippines. One way or the other, I was not
expecting such warmth and hospitality showed to us by the Filipino fans. I
am also thankful to the people behind our popularity there, for showing the
Meteor Garden 1 and 2. I believe Meteor Garden 2 is still being shown on TV, I
just am not aware which episode is showing at present. Through the scenario I
have seen, it was really difficult to say goodbye to the millions of people
after the show, goodbye has always been the saddest part after an overwhelming
experience, but as I said, we surely will be back and I will tell ZaiZai and
Baolong about this one experience Ken and I had and I'm sure the 2 of them would
want to be a part of the enjoyment we once
had in the future. I remember when I was being interviewed, I heard a ringtone
and I even said it was a familiar tone, I kept silent about it but it was Yan
Huo De Jie! We were really amazed by the feedback, I cant say anything more but
thank you very much from the bottom of my heart, our hearts."
IT
WAS A SUCCESSFUL RAINY EVENT
Taiwan, Hongkong and Japan fans of F4 have been informed how huge the concert of
F2 was when they performed there for a one-night event on September 13, 2003.
First time in the Philippines, Vanness Wu was very delighted to see his filipino
fans cheered for him and screamed his name while performing For Juliet and Body
Will Sing.
"I was not expecting the huge crowd before my eyes right before the
concert. I was waiting for my turn at the dressing room which was situated at
the back of the stage when I saw the
crowd screaming and shouting! It seems to be boring to perform in a crowd with
no positive response, but there in the Philippines, it was truly unforgettable.
But, the worse of it was when it rained late in the afternoon and apparently the
concert-goers were wet and I really was very appreciative because in spite of
the heavy rain people stayed and supported us on that one-night special event.
The stage was wet as well but remembering the "Looking For Juliet"
video which we did, I managed to surpass dancing regardless of how slippery the
stage was, over all, it was a success! And I am really very thankful to the fans
who stayed with us from the start of the concert to pass 12 midnight! I pity
those who waited outside the venue since morning since we have been getting
feedback on the crowd, and then after
waiting for several hours, they were not able to get in. I felt sorry for those,
but in a way, for a lively crowd, energetic audience, even if we sung chinese
songs, some managed to participate in the singing. I have also seen some banners
written in Chinese and it really felt so good"
The concert was the most successful concert by an asian artist in the
Philippines. And as we have heard, the gorgeous Vanness Wu, Ken Zhu, Jerry Yan
and Vic Zhou might hold a concert by February or March 2004 in line with their
3rd Album release early next year. For an Asian Tour in the Philippines, lets
expect a multiple times huge crowd and we hope that a concert like this be held
on a closed and covered venue for the protection of the people most especially
the kids.
FILIPINO SUPPORTERS WERE MARVELOUS
We had a
marvelous crowd, and once you had that kind of crowd the energy within would go
up, even if you are tired and really exhausted, seeing the crowd, the support,
love and all, everything will just fade. I am just so happy to have seen such
beautiful smiling faces in front of you, and its sad that you have to leave and
go to another place to perform, leave the people who continuously support you.
It was really amazing and I'm really thankful for such wonderful welcome to us
by our filipino fans in the Philippines.
I HOPE I COULD COME BACK TO THE PHILIPPINES
Vanness, after
the much-awaited concert in the Philippines laid down his comments. (Exclusive
at Interactive, Taiwan)
We landed the
Philippines airport at 1535H via CI635, Friday, I was really exhausted and by
the time i knew it I already could see thousands of filipinos right before my
eyes. I was not expecting such huge crowd from the airport to the hotel where we
stayed in. The warm welcome made was really amazing! There were some rout, there
were some pushing, yelling here and there but you couldn't think of it anymore
as those were because of the full support they give you! It was indeed a happy
feeling. It was an excellent job for the security from the airport to the hotel
to the venue where we held our concert, we were excellently taken care of.
Ken can't believe we are such popular in the Philippines, I have heard of it
already but then seeing it before me eyes, having you, yourself as the witness
is really something I am not even expecting! The concert was a success, although
there were some chaos, I can't blame those who really wanted to see us up-close,
If I could only get down and reach out to all those people, I would have done
that with no hesitancy. We only sung 3 LIVE songs each, excluding our duet (Ken
and I). At first, we should have sung 7-8 songs, but then it was on our contract
that we could only share 3 of our songs each. I did a bonus song to the delight
of the crowd. Maybe when we come back to the Philippines once more, now as F4,
(I'm hoping we could because I want to come back and have a show there again)
it's gonna be an F4 full concert. Yes, we were just guest artists on that show,
that's why it was called "The Event"! People there might have already
known that from the very beginning. Philippines is a nice place to stay in, very
peaceful, not to mention the screaming fans I saw there. But to top it all, they
have good hotel service, nice people, great food. I am very flattered and
honored to have a show there,
me and Ken were really flattered that you have accepted us not only as Mei Zuo
or Xi Men but of course as Ken and Vanness! Through this, I would like to thank
the people from the Philippines for their warm welcome, for their love and
support, really thank you thank you very much from the bottom of my heart! We're
really thankful and finally I have come to conquer the Philippines. About the
ticket prices of the concert? I have no idea about that, we were invited there,
we came and we performed, about the tickets, I guess I have nothing to do with
that. All I could say is that I am really happy to have performed in the
Philippines where Meteor Garden re-lives, and we're so much thankful for your
support to Meteor Garden, to us, F4 and we're hoping you would support us in our
upcoming endeavors. We left Manila via Flight CI 632 before lunch time.

Our
Newest Rival! Haha!
F4 member – Jerry Yan movement was always in a rush with his hectic
schedule, & his private life is even harder to be notice. But the truth
is, just yesterday night, our reporter had been following Jerry & next to
him is Taiwan famous model – Lin Zhi Ling. Both of them appeared together on
the streets & they also entered Min Shen Dong Road , into a building
carpark. Lin Zhi Ling only left on the following morning, meaning that both of
them had spent a whole 9 hours togethe r.
Yesterday night at 11:00pm , Jerry, Lin Zhi Ling & 2 other friends were
spotted shopping in the night marketing. Lin Zhi Ling wore a black T-shirt
& white pants standing at 1.75cm. Jerry was wearing his cap, black T-shirt
& blue jeans. Jerry was walking in front while Lin Zhi Ling was behind,
& their friends entering into the shop building.
When they entered, they closed the big door, our reporter in pretence. But it
showed that the shop had closed for business. It was till 2:40am in the
morning that the door opened. Lin Zhi Ling & a friend came out, then 20
seconds later, Jerry appeared & left. Both of them were inside with their
friends for 3½ hours. At 3am their friend drove them to Min Shen Dong Road’s
building carpark, both of them again were together till the yesterday morning
at 8am ,Lin Zhi Ling then left the building in a taxi wearing the same
clothing as before.
Our reporter checked & found out that the place was actually a praying
house with the Gods of San Tai Zi & Ji Gong, they only accept 50 people
daily to ask about their love life, careers or health matters, charging at
$200 a time.
Indeed it was not surprising even if both of them were a couple, as Jerry had
been busy traveling between HK & TW for his new movie & he also had
just left for Japan last night. Lin Zhi Ling had also appeared in “Chun Ni”
MV & she will become a host soon. As Jerry still do keep in contact those
friends whom he made during his modeling days & he did mentioned that he
admire Lin Zhi Ling for her works.

That
Striking New Bench Model...
I, myself would be on tenterhooks
to recurrently purchase Bench merchandises now... Why? Two
words- JERRY YAN. Just thinking of how gorgeous Jerry would look
like on Philippine billboards as well as on those strewed-
across- the-malls'-Bench outlets' front glass walls makes
my heart bounce in excitement. For sure, as I substantiate
myself onto biting off that publicity, Yan 's entry in Bench as
an endorser would
strike its market sales into a too-elevated-to-be true upsurge.
Quite foreseeable, considering Jerry's massive appeal to the
Filipino girls, and boys too (I'm telling you...).
Bench camp's currently working for Jerry's ad photos and TV
commercial ad in HK, where the latter was staying while shooting
his upcoming movie "Magical Kitchen" with Sammi Cheng
and Andy Lau. He flies to Japan and Taiwan every now and then
for the said movie as well and for his solo album's sake. Why,
just too occupied,
I doubt if he still can get the right sleep. Well, that's the
price of fame. But we know he can make it. He's a certified high-flier.
Jerry has been reportedly to visit Manila for a night of fashion
show on November 4, 2003. There were also those reports
that he will be having a concert along with Vic Zhou on November
29, 2003 at the Araneta Coliseum. Well, we just have to look
forward to those.
Seeing Jerry step into our country's crust would surely inflict
joy to his millions of Filipino fan's hearts. Take mine as a
kicking proof! -Ayi

Jerry's
State Visit?

Just
this November 6, Thursday on a rainy noontime, heart-jerking Jerry Yan
had finally stepped onto our country's crust! Even the rain's doing
its way on taking some excited glimpse (or dropping on his gorgeous
bod! Hmp! Naughty-naughty raindrops!) but I doubt about its
"wet" success since Jerry's security peeps
did really a lot of protective measures against the rain, the fans and
anything that's more likely to attack! What really amuses me was that
"courtesy call" Jerry
had received from our President herself! With that, I couldn't help
recalling the recent State Visit US President George Bush had paid the
Philippines. It's
an actually close picture of Jerry's phenomenal arrival just minus the
ecstatic ruckus, the euphoric roars and hollers
from the fans (and even the non-fans!) Whoa! I'm beginning to
think there could be an unsaid personal reason for such rare and warm
(actually, very warm...) welcome... looks like Ate Glo should be a
Sheeter too!
Jerry's
super sexy smile has charmed everyone at the Malacañang Palace.
Everybody's in
wild frenzy as their lucky eyes gazed up on him like winking's a sin!
He hadn't only met the President, he also had shared a moment with
less-fortunate children (how lucky of these less-fortunates
eh!).
Think
his second public view would be any lesser frenzy? It's of course a
resounding No-No! He was brought to his Bench Presscon the following
day at 11:30
AM by a helicopter! (Whew! See how such a Big-Time he is?) He ramped
in front of everyone
with his "Love ko Bench" white tee and a shy
(surprisingly...) yet gorgeous as always smile.
There, he had cleared up that F4's not disbanded like gossip-mongers
were thinning out, shared
his past-time recreations, and many, many others. Yet the most
interesting part was when he was asked if he could
pull-off posing with bench underwears, he answered it with a shy
"I think so"... My Gosh.. this would be tremendously
exciting! I'm sure everybody's praying for this scene to come!
Jerry
had left the country on November 8 and will be coming back for the
Happy 50 TV Concert with Vic Zhou and ASOS on November 29. So
"Dao shall return" too! And for his final blast, he told
everybody at the Pavillion (I guess we all are included, masaya sila!)
"Mahal ko kayo!" OMG, Jerry mahal din kita!!! -Ayi
