1: Intro
In
this text you will learn how to burn a avi to a cd using software to do so you
will also learn the diff between avi and mpeg and ntsc and pac also your learn
how to convert it for your dvd player even know how to tell if a dvd player can
even play burnt disk also your learn things you should do before converting.
This
text is a advanced detailed text on how to make a video cd.
Now
if you users have a dvd burner then sorry this text might not be for you a dvd
is not a vcd so there for this text is only for cd burners and cd r disk.
Let
me state this here right now so that i dont get in trouble i am not saying to
rip off the big ass movie companys this text is for ed purposes only just to
tell how its done i am not saying to go out and use this text so if you do use
this and you do get busted for using this its on you i stated here its for ed
purposes only meaning to learn from not to use so if you do use it and get
busted you cant do shit to me i only took the time to type this out so those can
learn off it not use it.

Software thats needed.
Now
there are many type of software out there but i will be doing this text using
just two types of software.
converting
software is called.
AVI
to VCD SVCD DVD Converter the website for this converter is.

now
i will state this right now this software is not free and i didnt make it so if
you cant buy it you might can find a crack for it i do not deal with crack
programs and i will not post a site to the crack for this program sorry.
Now
burning software there are two great burning software programs that burns vcd
formated movies one is
Nero
Burning Rom

is also a trial version its not free neither and like before i wont post a crack
or serial in this text

good burning software that burns vcd disk is nti cd maker

is also a free trail.
Now
you will need the converter and the burning software in order to do this if you
find a better converter or burning software then use it but this text only will
talk about using the converter and nero and nti software.
Now
after i get this text done at the end i will paste some websites to some free
converters but i will tell you now the best and fastest converter is the one
that i will be talking about.

3: The
Diff between avi and mpeg.
The
diff between a avi file and a mpeg file type.
this
gets alot confused really many users wonder why is it that you must convert
before burning.
when
a movie is recorded the file type its recorded in is avi then you have to
compress that avi to a movie clip instead of a video clip.
The
reason is a video clip is for computers and shit a movie clip is for movies dvd
players and things like that you have many types of mpeg formates 1 -4 .
the
biggst diff is avi files are for real time mpeg files is the compressed avi file
for players.

4: The
Diff between vcd and dvd.
Here
is another question.
vcd
is mpeg file type video cd
and
dvd is a dvd file type monifed burnt on dvd r disk
video
cds are burnt on cd r disk.
they
are really diff dvd disk holds up to 1gb memory when cd r disk holds up 700mbs.
Now
i will state this right now knowing this if you have a movie thats 600 or more
mbs your need to cut that movie into two parts before you can burn it on cd r
disk and both parts will use a diff disk.
basicly
any avi file you burn on cd rs using vcd format you will need to burn them on
diff disk.

5: The
diff between divx dvd riped movies and none dvd riped movies.
Now
this is easy the diff between dvd riped and not dvd riped are the file size is
bigger dvd riped movies are all in the same file its not cut into two parts its
one big ass file most of the dvd riped movies are 500 to 700mbs the none dvd
riped movies like ones in theaters are in two parts and they wont get over
250mbs.
the
big diff is that a dvd riped movie is the entire whole movie in one file not cut
already and its formated.
none
dvd riped movies are cut in two parts and isnt formated means some times the
sounds off or the picture might look nasty and all messed up.

6: Diff
types of converting.
Now
you have diff types of converting you have vcd svcd dvd now you dont wanna use
svcd or dvd when using cd r disk and when you are using nero or nti cd maker to
burn with.
also
you have two types of converting that gos with all 3 of those we will get into
that in a few.
the
first thing is to determain what type of cd are you making vcd =video cd svcd =
super video cd dvd now after you determain that you need to determain what type
of convereting you will use.

7: Things
to know about your dvd player.
Here
is where your dvd player comes in play first you really wanna make sure the dvd
player can play burnt cds or burn dvd disk.
How
you tell that is by looking at either the box it came in or at the dvd book that
came with it or on the back or bottom of the dvd player the import things you
wanna read is that it can play mp3 that it can play vcds and also you wanna find
out if its a ntsc or pac now if you do not see that it says vcd any where on the
dvd player or the dvd players old you can try to burn part of a movie and test
it out.

8: The
diff from ntsc and pac format.
This
is import really import.
ntsc
and pac the diff between the two is the location of the dvd player if its a pac
dvd player that means it was either made or bout in a foreigh state.
if
its a ntsc then that means it was either made or bout in usa or any country that
we are allied with.
china
and greece and spain those countrys will be pac format.
Its
really import that you find out what it is if you burn the cd using ntsc and the
dvd is a pac then the dvd player will not run the cd.
This
should be on the back or bottom of the dvd player if not you can call the store
where you got it at and ask them they should be able to tell you what type
of dvd player it is.

9: Things
to know before converting.
Now
There are a few things i wanna suggest to you before you convert any movie.
when
converting a movie its best to not be doing any thing on the pc as its
converting the reason for that is you want a clear picture and you want the
sound to stay right on the money you dont want it to skip nor get the sound off
any thing like that so if your using the pc it will cause the movie to go slower
making it skip and could throw the sound off meaning making the person say
something and then later after that you hear it or you hear it first then see
the dudes mouth move.
Now
also one more thing when converting you can change the size of the image on the
converter if you want the image to be seen on the full tv screen you might wanna
do that .

10: Using
nero burning rom to burn a vcd.
Using
nero to burn a vcd its easy actly what you do is selete video there selete vcd
add the mpeg file you made and thats it nero some times has problems with some
movies in vcd format thats why i suggest if you do get a problem with that use
nti cd maker to burn that movie.
Now
with all that said lets test it out shall we.
First
open the converter.

11:
Setting up the converter.
Now
when you open the converter it looks confusing but its really not.
the
top is nothing lets not worrie about that.
On
your left see Output Type.
you
wanna selete AVI to VCD
Output
size it will show the size that the movie is already on the pc now if you want
to you can edit the size thats totaly up to you.
Now
on the right you will see Output Format now here you wanna selete the format of
your dvd player ntsc or pac depending on what format it is.
Now
on down you see Open AVI File a text box and ... button play button and stop
button.
Here
you wanna click the ... button thats for browse.
Now
you wanna browse and find the avi file of your movie you are converting.
Also
after you selete that file you will see the Output Filename as the same location
and same name but with .mpeg do not change that .
Now
on down you see 7 buttons.
Just
click Start To Convert ! a box will open but that will say converting.
Now
after this all you do is wait.
Now
depending on your pc speed and also on if your doing any thing else on the pc or
not it will either go fast or slow.
now
100 to 150mbs will convert in 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 mins.
Now
200 to 250mbs will convert in 2 hours to 2 hours and 30 mins.
Now
this here is based on converting and not doing any thing else on the pc.
Now
if you deside to let it convert and you are on messenger or chatting or browsing
the net the time it will take to get done can go up to 5 hours or more.
Thats
why i suggest you convert and thats it.

12:
Burning the finished converted movie using nero.
After
its done converting open nero up if you get the nero that i my self use nero
6.6.0.1 with the nero startsmart then double click the startsmart icon.
when
its loaded your see many options here icons at the top.
The
first one is a star thats for favorites the second one is a piece of paper thats
for data disk the therd is a music note thats for music cds the fourth is a
image strip thats for videos the
fiveth is cds and cam corder thats for copy and backup the last is a icon with a
+ on it thats for extras.
So
you need to selete the 4th image for video.
here
you see two icons VCD and SVCD
The
first one is Make Video CD thats what you wanna click on the first one.
IF
your using the trial version your get a box that says
Nero
Express with 3 boxes on it and 3 buttons if you dont have a serial click Demo.
Now
your be in My Video CD add the video files you want to burn with a big box below
that.
Now
lets focus on the right hand side.
Here
you wanna click add.
Now
you got a box that says.
Selete
Files and Folders
this
is where you add ya mpeg file you converted.
Location
click the drop down list selete the folder where the file is then click on it
and click add
it
gets added to the big box after its added click finish on there.
now
here its just simple
click
next
do
your speed for the burning then click next and next again and its burning have a
cd in the cd burner btw after that it will burn less then 15 mins your have the
movie burnt to vcd all you do now is put it into your dvd player and enjoy.

I
will not go in to detail about thse i am just posting the urls to the converting

that burns vcd movies sorry to say this but there is not a free software that
does that so my suggestions is to use nti cd maker and or nero burning rom free
trails when the trail runs out you can either try to search for a serail or
crack or buy the program thats all i can say aboutt hat.
