Our New House - The Walls Go Up! Every trip over to the house, I never know what to expect! I thought the frame and roof had gone up quickly so it should have been no surprise that the brick walls went up in just two days!
This picture shows that we have the undivided attention of the whole crew while our house goes up. No wonder it's not taking long! There are two builders in the subdivision and right now, ours is the only house under construction by our builder. The other builder has two homes in progress.
Each piece of river rock on the front gable was cut to fit. I'm glad we decided to go with this stone, and I like the brick accent the project manager suggested.
A day later, the brickwork is almost complete!
