Our New House - The House Gets a Hat
Things started moving quickly. Just a couple of days after Eric had gone back to San Francisco, I stopped by the house and the first thing I noticed was that the roof had been decked and that the back wall had the Hardie-Plank siding applied.
The front part of the house will be brick and in preparation for that, the whole thing was encased in something called Greenguard Plygood Ultra, a wind resistant insulative sheathing.
Three days later, the roof had been shingled, the skylight had been installed and the bricks had been delivered.
