Fill in the Blank

FILL IN THE BLANK

Object: Have the highest score after four rounds and go for $10,000 in the bonus.

ROUND ONE: Three players compete. In round one, a word or phrase is shown with a subject and jackpot is established at $100 per letter in the word. A question is asked for $25, and is jump-in for all three. The first to answer correctly wins the money and can see one letter of the word. They can guess the word for the jackpot. If they get it right they win the money. If not another question is asked, and each letter revealed after the first deducts another $100 from the jackpot. Once the word is guessed correctly, that player wins the jackpot and round one ends.

ROUND TWO: Now questions are worth $50 and letters for $200. After this puzzle, the one who guesses it gets to pick one of two related puzzles for a bonus prize. They get to see a fourth of the puzzle, in spaces of their choice. If they get it right, they win the prize, if not, they go back and play continues.

ROUND THREE: Questions are now worth $75 and letters worth $300.

ROUND FOUR: This round is the speed round. Ten, quick-fire words in one subject, at a minimum of three letters, and a maximum of twelve are played. The word is revealed last letter and on until one player buzzes in with a correct guess. They win $100 for each blank remaining in the word, and the first letter is never revealed. After the 10 words, the top scorer moves on and the others keep their cash.

BONUS ROUND: In the bonus the player has thirty-five seconds to guess five words successfully. A word is shown with a subject, with the last letter revealed four minimum, twelve max. Every second a letter is revealed until the word is guessed correctly. The first letter can be revealed in this round. If all five words are guessed correctly, then win $10,000 and if not $250 a word. Players can stay on the show as many times as they can win.
