FACT OR FICTION
Object: Win the most money, and receive a bonus prize.
ROUND ONE: Four players compete. A panel of three celebrities offers help in answering questions as well as the studio audience. The host reads a fact, and each player, the panelists and studio audience lock in a guess at whether it is fact or fiction. The results of the audience poll are revealed, and each panelist reveals their answer and sometimes an explanation of their answer. Throughout the reveals each player may change their answer. At the sound of the bell, the correct answer is revealed. If the player was right on the first try, they win $200. If they were right on their second, they win $100. Five questions are played in round one.
ROUND TWO: Three related facts are revealed - two are fiction, one is fact. Each panelist, audience member and player locks in guess at what they believe is the right one. The results of the audience and panelists are revealed. Each player may change their answer as the answers are shown. First guess in this round is worth $400, and $200 on the switch. Three sets of facts are played.
ROUND THREE: The catch-up round. The player in last place goes first. They can play up to three facts. When a fact is read, only they, the audience and panelists guess. If the player is wrong, play on that fact ends. If they�re correct, they win $250. Then, they can try to predict what a certain panelist or the audience as a whole said � fact or fiction. Each correct prediction earns them $250, and they can stop after each prediction, because a wrong answer loses all the money made on that fact. After three are played, the third place player tries, the second, and finally first place. If there is a tie after all have played, then the elimination round begins. A fact is read, and the tied players register a guess. A right answer earns advancement, wrong answer means elimination. The remaining player wins the game. They pick a panelist and receive the prize in their envelope valued between $300 - $6,000. Four new players compete each day.
