Saturn
Jupiter
October 7, 2001 4am Central

My camera has no real exposure control so no detail on Jupiter can be seen.  But the 4 Galilean satelites show up well.  Io thru the telescope has a slight orange color, Ganymede is the largest of the moons and is also the brightest. Callisto is the faintest here but is not the smallest. Europa is smaller than Callisto but is covered with ice. There will be a quiz.

Saturn is also a hard subject for my meager camera.  The rings of Saturn are visible also the gap between the planet and the rings.  The moons of Saturn are too faint to be seen with my camera.
