Encouraged by high technology at the time, the Japanese copied -with German assistance- the Me-163 called "Shusui".  Testing never proceded to production and this is the only remaining prototype craft in the world.

Seeing these planes is amazing and it is easy to get complacent on seeing yet "another" fully restored, flyable aircraft!

Grumman F6F

This "Hellcat" is over 50 years old and still flyable.
Vought F8U

First flown in 1955, this plane operated from aircraft carriers in the '60s and fought in the Vietnam War.   Note the folding wingtips and moveable wing.
