Francis Urquhart Wilcox
Francis was reared in New Haven CT. He attended Phillips-Andover Academy and Yale Univ. and came to Niagara Falls in his youth. He was first associated with Niagara Falls Power Co; then, in 1905, he moved to Buffalo and associated with the Frontier Telephone Co. In 1910, he went to Albany where he became connected with the public service commission. He was a member of the Duch Reformed Church and was an independent in politics.
