346. James Capers Ansley

Died of pneumonia at his home near Norwood. Funeral conducted by Dr. A. C. Davidson of Sharon, assisted by Rev H. D. Pace (James was member of Prospect Church). He had lived in Warren Co. for over 50 years. Obituary spoke of him as a "man without guile"..he was known for his unselfis generosity, strict honesty, unassuming modesty, industry and kindess to loved ones and friends.
He left a widow, 3 sons, 4 daughters, 24 grandchildren, 12 g'grandchildren.
