Any information.Her maiden name used in John Urquhart Ansley - 10th of 14 children--2 grandchildren w/Urquhart name--Catharine U.Ansley, daughter of David H. Ansley, and David U. Wilcox, son of Frances Louisa Ansley Wilcox and David Hand Wilcox.

Frances Louisa Ansley
Frances took her five (at the time) young children on the last train out of Augusta GA (just before Gen. Sherman's army cut off communications) and traveled west to Jackson MS, and gradually worked north, crossing the battle lines at Memphis TN. There they took a steamer up the Mississippi River and finally joined her husband in Canada. After the war, they returned to Mr. Wilcox's old home in Madison CT, and later settled in New Haven, CT.
