daughter of the late Mrs. Susan Whedbee, of Marietta, Ga., died at the residence
of her sister, Mrs. Mary J. Heath, in Newton co., May 29th 1870. She was for

Rev. Benjamin R. Searcy was born in Cumberland county, N.
C., January 16, 1797, moved to Georgia in 1818, resided in Jones county until
1826 when he became a resident of Talbot county. He died near Griffin, Ga.,
where he died 6th of February in the 77th year of his age. Mrs. J. T. Ansley
