TOKYO RIOT
SINGLE
CD
- Reference number: Columbia 8-456-12113
- 2002 Japanese? release
- Partial show from February 1, 1982 plus 4 tracks from 1979, 1980 and 1982 (follow link
for more information)
- Venue: Sun Plaza
Hall
- Sound Rating: 8/7
- Variations: This is the only version known
to me. Yet another version of the Tokyo show. This one seems a straight lift
from This Is Live Clash (CD) with "Koka Kola"
from 12/27/79 tacked on (see 16 Tracks (LP)). The
jokers who made this one are trying to make it appear legit by co-opting "Clash
On Broadway" styled art, and using the old "Columbia" logo.
Any official release in 2002 would be from Sony, and before Sony bought out
CBS the Clash appeared on the CBS or Epic labels, not Columbia. Nice try though.
- TRACKS: London Calling / Safe European Home / White Man In Hammersmith
Palais / Brand New Cadillac / Charlie Don't Surf / Clampdown / This Is Radio
Clash / Armagideon Time / Jimmy Jazz / Tommy Gun / Fujiyama Mama (with Pearl
Harbour on vocals) / Police On My Back / White Riot // 9-21-19?: The Guns
Of Brixton // 3-8-80?: Train In Vain // 10-12-82?: Should I Stay Or Should
I Go? // 12-27-79: Koka Kola
