Electrical
Wire and cable insulation and jacketing; foamed insulation in coaxial cable constructions; hook up and other computer wire insulation; oil-well wire and cable insulation; jacketing for logging wire and cathodic protection; aircraft, mass transit, automotive wire, battery cases; fuel call membranes; flexible printed circuitry and flat cable.

Chemical
Containers; diaphragms; protective linings/coatings for tank, pumps, valves, pipes, scrubbing towers, reactors, thermocouple wells, centrifuge components; heat exchangers, ducting, unsupported pipe and tubing; tower packing; valve seats; filters; dust collectors; mist eliminators; closures; filter fabric; fittings; process system components.

Cryogenic and Aerospace
Wire and cable insulation and jacking; pump liners; seals; gaskets; valve seats; fittings; gasket for liquid oxygen and other propellants; components for manned space vehicles and aircraft cabins, space suits; convoluted tubing and hose for conduit; expandable abrasion-resistant braid.

Custom Processing
FluoroResist lined glove box for the processing of radioactive materials, high purity pharmaceuticals or semiconductor devices, FluoroResist provides excellent chemical resistance, ease of fabrication, and easy cleaning.

Fibre (Non-Woven)
FluoroResist nonwoven surface veils can replace polyester and glass for surface forming and reinforcement in FRP composites. It is resistant tot all acids and bases and adds corrosion, temperature, and permeation resistance to corrosion and marine thermoset composites.

Food Processing
FluoroResist stabilized DA grades comply with the FDA's Register of Food Additive Regulations. FluoroResist unstabilized grades are suitable for repeated use applications at temperatures up to 100ºC (212ºF) in contact with non-fatty foods, under FDA 21 CRF 177.1380. FluoroResist is particularly suited for use with acidic food, fruit and juice processing.

Medical
ITS Industrials does not recommend the use of FluoroResist for medical applications.

Oil and Gas
Ideal material for use in the oil and gas industry due to its good mechanical properties and excellent chemical resistance to a wide variety of organic and inorganic chemicals, even at elevated temperatures. Oil Field applications include shock tubing, encapsulated injection tubing, coated rod, and coated control cables. The tough, resistant FluoroResist coating extends the life of many down hole components in harsh well environments.

Semiconductor/High-Purity
Clean room, DI water high-purity processing systems; chemicals handing systems including unsupported and supported piping, tanks, vessels; Factory Mutual Approved for fume and smoke exhaust ducting with a longer service life than stainless steel. The micro-smooth surface of FluoroResist can be a significant benefit in high purity applications. FluoroResist ECTFE has superior chemical resistance and high temperature resistance up to 150ºC (300ºF).
