They are throwing a big party to announce her name, and have invited everyone to the party, including Count Magpyr and his family, which are vampires, or rather vampyres. Granny Weatherwax is feeling really bad, especially because she didn�t get the invitation to the party. The Lancre witches are at a delicate situation - they are 4 witches when they should be only 3. In addition, King Verence has asked an omanian priest to perform the ceremony - Quite Reverend Mightily Oaths, and a lot of weird blue tiny little men have come into Lancre.
