Firstly;
SIN was "pinned" on Adam as the
first human being created by God [Elohim] and imputed on all his
descendants. In other words, by Adam sin entered into the world through
Eve that was seduced by the devil as a serpent.
But the serpent said to the woman, "You will never die, but God knows
that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like
God, knowing good and evil." . . . Then she took of the fruit and ate
it
and gave it to her husband who was with her, and he ate it too. Then
the eyes of both of them were opened and they knew that they were
naked; then they pinned fig leaves and made loincloths. Genesis 3:4-7
And Adam
deliberately violated it when the LORD God first gave the
following command to him: "You may eat all the
trees in the garden freely, but the tree of the knowledge of good and
evil, you shall not eat of its fruit, for in the day you eat of it, you
will surely die." Genesis 2:16-17
For Adam was first made, then Eve.
Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and through
sin also death, so death spread to all men, because all have sinned.
For before the law was there, there was sin in the world. But sin is
not counted if there is no law. Yet death reigned from the days of Adam
to the days of Moses also over them, who did not sin in the same way as
Adam, who was the image of Him who was to come. Romans 5:12-14
When Adam was created from the dust of the earth and became human by
the breath of life from the Creator, his status was neither sinful nor
holy (innocense). He hasn't been tested yet. Why ?
Because the Creator created man as His image. He has a free conscience
(free will) to choose and was not created as a robot. Robots are
programmed so that their reasoning mind not knowing how to digest any
instructions for the consequences.
Secondly,
the SIN of all the descendants of Adam was 'pinned' to Jesus as the
last Adam
The image of Him who is to come is Jesus, the second man to come from
heaven.
For He [God] made him
[Jesus] who knew no sin to be sin for us,
so that in him we
might be justified by God. 2 Cor 5:21
As it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being", but the
last Adam became a living spirit. But that which comes first is not
that which is spiritual, but that which is natural; then comes the
spiritual. The first man came from the dust of the earth and was
carnal, the second man came from heaven. The natural beings are the
same as He who comes from the dust of the earth and the heavenly beings
are the same as He who comes from heaven. Just as we have put on the
appearance of the natural, so
we will put on the appearance of the
heavenly. And this I say unto you, brethren, that flesh and
blood shall
not inherit the kingdom of God; neither shall they that perisheth any
thing that perisheth not. 1Cor15: 45-50
Thirdly,
eternal life is imputed to every person
who believes in Jesus (the second man from heaven) who died bearing the
SIN of all the descendants of the first Adam and was raised from the
dead and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
- Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and
believeth
on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into
condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24
- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting
life. John 3:16

What is the effect of rejecting Jesus
as the Son of God?
Therefore I said unto you, that ye shall die in your sins; for if
ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. "John 8:24
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that
believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth
on him. "John 3:36
But the cowards, the unbelievers, the vile, the murderers, the harlots,
the sorcerers, the idolaters and all liars, they will have their share
in the deep sea blazing by fire and brimstone; this is the second
death. "Re 21: 8

What is the effect of receiving
Jesus as Saviour and Lord?
For what does the scripture say? "Then Abraham believed God, and it
was imputed unto him for righteousness." If someone works, his
wages
are not counted as a gift, but as a right. But if anyone does not work,
but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as
righteousness. Romans 4: 3-5
Therefore it was imputed to him (Abraham) as righteousness. These
words, namely "it was imputed to him" were not written for Abraham
only, but were written for us as well; for God also counts them
(imputed), because we believe in Him who raised our Lord Jesus from the
dead, who was delivered for our trespasses and was raised
for our justification. Rom 4:22-25
In this way the scripture was fulfilled which says: "Abraham believed
God, and it was credited to him as righteousness." That is why
Abraham
is called "God's friend." James 2:23
